apply for a grant
We occasionally make grants to non-profit organizations and groups who can help us carry out our mandate of strong partnerships for healthier futures.
We have a set procedure for inquiries and submissions, spelled out in the downloadable documents listed below.
Our grant making procedure, for both funds and equipment, begins with reading “Applying for a Grant” to see if your organization or group is eligible for funding. If you believe you fit our criteria, we then ask for a Letter of Inquiry, which is accepted by the HELP Fund Board twice each year. You may submit the form to us electronically (use the word document) or via post (to our address at the bottom of the page).
Grants are usually small, never more than 10% of total fund assets in any given year and are not geographically limited although our area of interests are North America and Asia.
We acknowledge all Inquiries and will contact you if we wish to pursue a full project proposal with your organization.
In 2022 our areas of interest and deadlines include:
1. COVID 19 and Learning Recovery – related projects offering access to information, mental health services and offline learning to marginalized groups – 1 March 2023
2. Health, environment and literacy projects for marginalized persons – 1 March 2023
3. Building young leaders – Leadership Camps, Village-based Social Entrepreneur Programs and Training Mentors – 1 October 2023
4. Connecting children through Global Classroom Initiatives – 1 June 2023
