Our work in the Western Himalayas
The HELP Fund both designs its own innovative programs and partners with other NGOs to bring health and literacy to remote areas of the Himalayas and to strengthen the understanding of community in North America K-12 schools.
Local beneficiaries help decide the next step forward, so our projects change each year. But whether it’s scaling Winter Camps or bringing access to health education to a remote village, we focus on building local capacity and learning together as we go.

The Himalayas since COVID-19
Since the first lock-down in South Asia in March 2020, we have been working with partners to adapt their services – from developing offline learning systems, to establishing collaborations and sharing resources to better serve people facing job loss, domestic violence or stress.
This year, we are working to create a Women’s Residency in our partner’s HEALTH Inc territory. Partneing with five local, women-led NGOs, we will bring in South Asian experts who can spend time helping these valuable agencies build their profiles, access funds and better serve their highly-marginalized clients.
