Displaced war widows.  Migrants into the Kathmandu Valley. Kids from impoverished backgrounds. They all struggle facing those school entrance exams. (Yes, exams to get into school). CORE International supports the Kathmandu-based NGO SOUP with an "Out-of-School" school. This special learning centre helps kids from disadvantaged backgrounds get ready for school with a one-year learning programme.
